Team Building in 2018

Those at Everest never forget about history and use their actions to help develop great companies, contributing their part to the Chinese dream. In the pic above, its employee had a team-building session in Baiyangdian, Hebei in 2018. They listened to the local part of the history of the Chinese War Against Japanese Aggression and drew inspirations from the heroic deeds of forefathers.

Everest encourages its staff to preserve health. As an example, CEO and Chairman Mr. XIAO Jiancong persists in regular daily exercises.

Everest give due regards to its female employees, and gives them exclusive gifts at times. In the pic above, CEO and Chairman Mr. XIAO Jiancong presented flowers to all female employees on the Women’s Day in 2018.

Everest led the top managers of its portfolio companies to take part in Mt. Wudang Martial Arts Contest, taking inspirations regarding corporate management from the Chinese martial arts culture.

In May 2018, Everest employees held an outdoor get-together on Mt. Baiwang, singing the Chinese song “Clap Your Hands If You Feel Happy”.

In its corporate culture, Everest advocates the “farming” philosophy of “no pains, no gains”. In the pic above, it organized its employees to harvest wheat on the outskirts of Beijing to taste the difficulties of a harvest in June 2018.

To temper employees’ will, Everest arranges irregular “Devil Training” sessions for its employees. In the pic above, its employees were in the middle of a five-day closed-door training in Beijing Lehe Valley. The aim was to let employees start working mid-night like Apple’s CEO and feel the difficulties of great companies’ success.

To promote the communication between employees, the company often holds outdoor sports and leisure activities. In Nov. 2018, the company arranged its employees to walk around the Yanxi Lake in Beijing. In the pic above, they were warming up before the walk.

To improve its staff’s physique, Everest held daily Shadow-boxing cultural classes within the company for two consecutive years. The pic above is a group photo at one of the classes.
